Weekend workcamps
to maintain the grounds of Reigny Abbey in the Yonne department.
Saturday March 21 and Sunday March 22
Weekend workcamp to restore the farm buildings (courtyard, courtyard, barn), organized by theAssociation des Amis de l’abbaye de Reigny atReigny Abbey.
This friendly, participatory event will help to preserve and enhance the site, in a spirit of sharing and discovering heritage.
Accommodation and meals provided for participants.
Chantier de Printemps: Mission Accomplished!
Some fifteen volunteers gathered at the abbey to transform the energy of spring into concrete action. The results are impressive:
- Renovation: Demolition of partitions and floors in the future mill gîte.
- Green spaces: Transparent pruning of cypress trees to restore a perspective towards the mill on the banks of the Cure.
- Beautification : Painting of the lices that will soon host our eagerly-awaited Déjeuner en Blanc.
The Reigny spirit: A huge thank you to all participants for their efficiency, always tinged with laughter and good humor. It’s thanks to this commitment that the abbey continues to live on!
